How would one define what an EPIC eating experience is? Depending on which search engine that you use, the word “EPIC” can be defined as, “Heroic or grand in scale or character”, or “Particularly impressive or remarkable.”

The two owners of EPIC EATS (Award-Winning Executive Chef Al Borda, and Award-Winning Winery Owner Mark Manfield) have their own definition of an EPIC eating experience, and it all begins with a standout fast-casual breakfast restaurant that serves heroic and grand in scale menu items combined with extraordinarily impressive and remarkable customer service.

How can all of this be done under one roof you ask? The answer is simple, and it’s the same answer used for most things in life. It’s not about what you know, it’s about who you know. After 50 years of combined restaurant experience, Chef Al Borda and Manfield know EXACTLY who to partner with to provide customers with the most EPIC breakfast dining experience ever created in the Inland Empire.

For example, to provide our customers with the best quality waffles, Chef Borda decided to partner with Golden Malted, which is the largest supplier of waffle mix and irons in the United States for some of the highest rated hotels, restaurants, universities, and theme parks.

To offer the very best eggs available, both owners agreed to only purchase “Pasture-Raised”, Local-Organic farm eggs, that produces “Cage Free” (or Free Range) eggs. Essentially, a Pasture-Raised egg comes from a hen who enjoys roaming room in fresh pastures with the freedom to forage for local grasses, succulents, and wildflowers while enjoying fresh air and sunshine.

For our coffee, EPIC EATS partnered with Illy, from Italy, to allow our in-house coffee bar to provide the freshest, most robust coffee drinks, espressos, and cappuccinos found anywhere in the Inland Empire.

We offer REAL Maple syrup as an option, vegan cream cheese, lots of Plant-based menu items and a Brunch on the weekends and holidays that you will want to book in advance.

Lastly, to ensure the freshest quality of some of our other breakfast items, both owners agreed that it is sometimes best to partner with yourself. As a result, EPIC EATS spared no expense in building out its own in-house bakery, and its own in-house juice and smoothie bar, utilizing fruits and vegetables sourced from local suppliers and Organic is always the first choice.

Once you review our menu items, you will immediately be struck with the ‘paradox of choice.’ The options range from a great traditional breakfast to an over-the-top breakfast experience that parallels Fred Astaire dancing on the roof of your mouth. Our items are purposely created to be a little extra savory and a bit tangier to the point that they have become “je ne sais quoi”, or possess a quality that cannot be described or named easily.

To take it a step further, the creation of our menu was the result of hundreds of man-hours of brainstorming and studying the trends of diners, and corroborating with other executive chefs from acclaimed restaurants located throughout the southwest in such areas as San Diego, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Phoenix.
